Mirra Wicker

Mirra is a licensed clinical social worker and a Jai certified Parent coach, dedicated to supporting parents, couples, and families on their journey toward secure bonds and emotional well-being. Graduating from Naropa University with a degree in Contemplative Psychology in 2008 and earning her master's degree in social work from the University of Denver in 2012, she continued her professional development at the Denver Family Institute, obtaining a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013. Mirra brings a rich background to her practice, combining extensive experience working with parents and children, couples, and individuals with specialized training in EMDR, PACT (Psychobiological Approaches to Couples Therapy), PAIRS (Practical Approaches to Intimate Relationship Skills), and Attachment Focused Family Therapy.

As the founder of Ohana Therapy and Connected Beginnings, Mirra leverages her expertise in attachment theory, neurobiology, neuroscience, and emotional intelligence to teach online classes and offer valuable support to parents through social media. A dedicated mother of two, Mirra is committed to fostering positive connections within families and empowering parents to navigate the complex terrain of parenthood.
