Laura is all ears for the deep dives, complex thoughts, and unique challenges in life! She draws from her experience as a transracial Chinese American Adoptee to provide a compassionate coaching space. She finds theoretical grounding in modalities like IFS, EFT, and Somatic Experiencing to gently guide and support clients through attachment based-interventions.
Laura received her Masters in Cultural Sustainability from Goucher College which is a discipline rooted in folklore, anthropology, and sociology. She pursued Marriage and Family Therapy through the Denver Family Institute and worked as an Addictions Counselor during the beginning of the COVID pandemic. She also is a Sex Therapist who specializes in couples navigating non-monogamy and individuals exploring gender identity. Laura holds her complex Asian identity throughout all aspects of her work.
I grew up as an only child in New Jersey listening to some of the jazz greats! As an only child, I navigated and continue to navigate conversations about boundaries, attachment needs, and authenticity. I was adopted from Yiwu, Zhejiang, China and eventually moved to Colorado to deepen my work in adoption and attachment studies. I organize with the local AAPI community and navigate non-monogamy with my partner and cats. In my spare time, I love to listen to live music, cultivate my roots, and I play trombone a lot!

Laura is one of the most open minded people I've ever met. She is always gathering new information or training or experience to add to her passion for healing and human development.
